What COLOR should i dye my hair?

Hi. Im dying my hair befor i go back to school. Im debating on what color should i dye my hair. Im puerto rican & have blue contacts . My hair is black [ew] and im sick of it. I was going to dye it red but EVERY girl has red hair.. so yeah. Any request or suggestions? Thanksss (:
