I have dermatophagia and I dont know how to tell my folks?

I've been biting for Really long time and my folks just keep telling me stop and ew why do you do that and I keep telling them I CANT HELP IT but they just dont get it. My pop keeps calling me a carnivore my mom's just keeps telling me to stop (like thats gonna do Anything) and we're running out of bandaids. I keep telling them I cant help it and its a super bad habit but they just arent doing anything abour it. My mom always says, if its such a bad habit maybe I need to take you to the doctor BUT SHE DOESNT DO ANYTHING... (she does that with everything!) Im scared that if I tell them they'll get mad and fuss me out and tell me I dont have anything. I just want some help cus I know this isnt normal. I JUST CANT HELP IT!!
