Places to work at when 16?

So i'm 16 and i live in Colorado and i NEED a job. I've applied to places like grocery stores and ice cream places but so far nothing. I'm thinking of applying to be a waitress at restaurants that don't serve alcohol like ihop and denny's and village in. any other ideas? Also i know i'm being kinda picky but i really would not like to work at a fast food place...ew. I know i can find somewhere else
