Mortal Instruments Series question? IMPORTANT PLEASE HELP!?

okay so im reading City of Bones, the 1st book in the series, and I just found out that Clare and Jace are related but in the 3rd book theyre gonna tell us that they arent. my question is this. I was really looking for the romance part so IS IT EVEN WORTH READING ANYMORE IF THERE WONT EVEN BE ANY ROMANCE SCENES? like at this point isnt it just boring?
