Anyone think they could help me with my black and blue deck?

Here's the thing. I have a deck that centers around discard and draw spells with some weaker creatures and counterspells for defense. My intent with the deck is to use cards like Jace's Erasure and Lillian's Caress toppled with draw and discard spells to deal damage, and I'm wondering if anyone had any suggestions on good cards to add to this deck, also I feel that it needs a backup strategy in case things go bad. Any suggestions? Also...as a side note if anyone knows any good spells to produce blue mana ( something like dark ritual does for black ) that'd be helpful.
